- HOW DOES IT WORK? — The Centralite water sensor can be placed on any non-conductive surface, like granite, glass, brick, or tile. Ideally, look for areas near or under a home's most common source of water leaks, such as a refrigerator, washing machine, water heater, or toilet. The conductors on the underside of the sensor will alert you at the first indication of excessive moisture or liquid that they encounter so you can address the issue swiftly and avoid costly and devastating water damage.
- EASY TO USE — The Centralite water sensor has “pull-to-pair” joining. The device ships with the battery pre-installed, and all that is needed to begin the joining process is to pull out a small plastic tab from the bottom of the device.

If the 3-Series Water Sensor detects water, it can trigger a whole-home water shut of f valve to disconnect the water supply. This protects your home against leak and flood damage, even when you’re away from home or unaware that there’s a problem.
Ensure that A/C drain pans don’t overflow
With optional remote leads, you can place the water sensor in areas that there is typical standing water. A/C drain pans contain some water under typical operating conditions but with the 3-Series Water Sensor, you can be notified when the water reaches an unacceptable level.
