These lockout tagout tags are crafted from PVC vinyl, making ordinary pens ineffective for writing. We recommend using permanent markers, grease/wax pencils, or paint markers among others.
Is it possible to erase the notations made on these tags?
It depends on the writing material used. Grease/wax pencils are easily erasable. However, permanent or paint markers may require a special type of solvent like acetone or paint thinner, which is not recommended because it may damage the tag.
Can these tags be used outside a facility, potentially exposing them to rain or extreme heat?
Yes. These tags are weatherproof and waterproof. Each is made of premium PVC Vinyl, which is a type of plastic extremely resistant to moisture and humidity.
