Looking to step up your surface protection game? Trimaco's X-Board provides temporary surface protection that lasts. The lightweight surface protector is breathable and reusable making it great for paint and remodel jobs. The tough painter's board protects a variety of surfaces from liquids, paints, mud and heavy traffic. Available in both 50-ft and 100-ft, this roll is easy to work with and rolls out flat for easy installation.

Tips
We recommend not to use where X-Board cannot be firmly secured to the surface.
Consult with your flooring and/or finish manufacturer to determine if X-Board is suitable
We suggest using a blue painter's tape around the edges to secure to surface, to avoid floor damage
Test tape in a discrete area, prior to apply on surface
Use printed side up.
How to install X-Board
Calculate the square footage of the area you will be protecting to determine what size roll, and how many rolls you will need.
Clear and sweep the floor and area that will need protecting.
Starting at one end, roll out the X-Board to your desired length, and cut with a box cutter (we recommend using the printed side up.)
Overlap the seam by roughly a half an inch, and repeat until your surface is completely covered.
Tape together the seams, but make sure the seam tape does not stick to the floor.
Use a less adhesive, floor-friendly tape such as a blue painter's tape on the edges to secure firmly to the surface. ( * * We suggest doing an area test before using any tape on the floor to ensure no floor or finish is harmed.)
Once done, roll up and and reuse if there is minimal wear and tear on the surface protector.
